突如、次の内容が２月９日に来ました。
Dear, How are you? Did you receive the mail i sent to you regards to my sister and her families Fatal Accident? Kindly let me know as it is urgent to avoid losing any body.
で、何のことか具体的に理解出来ず、本人に確認することなく・・・（本人は、福岡のＫ大で、学位を取るのに一生懸命になっているはずなのに・・・？！）
で、その２日後に、再びメイルが来て・・・→I was told that my sister who is a contractor in Nigeria had a car accident with her husband and there 3 children and they lost there first child immediately while my sister, her husband and other children sustained serious injury which i was told that may lead to surgery.I had to travel immediately to Nigeria to see them and on getting to Nigeria i saw it was terrible but the doctor have managed to stop the bleeding.However, i have deposited the money i have with me while the doctor is demanding for another $5800 for the treatment and also to buy blood because my sister and one of her son lost a lot of blood during the incident. と更に長く続く文が続き、兎に角、お金を早急に５８００ドル送って欲しいって内容でした。
で、その内容を家内見せると、「下手ね、誰が見ても、おかしい内容ね・・・」とパット女の直感で、おかしいと言ったのには、私も、「（妻の隠れた才能を今更ながら再確認した感じになって）スゴイ！」と思いました。
で、直接に、なりすましされた本人（アフリカの出身で、アラビア語とスワヒリ語を彼からしばらく教わりましたが）にメイルを送ると、やはりそうで、ハッカーからパスワードも取られて、自分の友達全員にメイルが送られてしまい、申し訳ないって感じで返ってきました。
海外版のオレオレ詐欺ですね。」
